There is nothing like a road trip and today we start off with a great review at Cassidy’s Bookshelves and then we head over to Montana Bookaholic! The temperature in Montana today is at 25 degrees while sunny South Texas is at 48. So glad to be virtually traveling.
Thanks for all the comments when you stop by 🙂 I read them all and love seeing them! Don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a digital copy of this book and $20 Amazon Gift Card.

Don’t you just love traveling? Today we are hopping over to Self-Rescue Princess (my kind of girl!) to hear what my main character Nora Alexander has to say in her very own guest post.
After that, we head over Books Direct where I am guest posting about my writing process and there is an excerpt from Murder of a Good Man.
Thank you for all of the great comments everyone is leaving and don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a digital copy of a Murder of a Good Man and a $20 Amazon Gift Card.

Today we are off to My Reading Journeys for an interview and a wonderful review! Thank you very much. Her logo states she started her reading journey with Trixie Belden. Remember that series? Strangely enough, I think I started with Little Women. No, I’m not that old, but I was at a small town library and they hadn’t updated the fiction for a while. Loved those girls.
After that, we head to Storybook Reviews.
“An intriguing start to a new series set in the Piney Woods of East Texas…” 4 Paws!
I will be sharing this review with Max and Martin, my amazing dog co-writers.
Welcome to day three of my book tour! Today I’m at Island Confidential where Nora Alexander, my main character tells all about the book and a little about me! Then I received a wonderful review at Books a Plenty Book Reviews. I kind of like the idea of being on an island with books aplenty. Works for me! Don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a digital copy of Murder of a Good Man and a $20 gift card from Amazon!

If you missed yesterday’s stops Murder of a Good Man received a great review from Laura’s Interests.
Family secrets abound in this small town novel. Nora has one last thing to deal with before her old life comes to its conclusion and she begins again. She has no idea why her mother wants a letter hand delivered. As life takes unexpected turns for Nora and secrets unfold, she repeatedly wonders why her mother could not just have mailed her last letter.
Characters who you want to like while not knowing who you can trust.
Characters who you want to dislike, but you see they have redeeming value.
Not an easy mystery to figure out. ~Laura’s Interests Book Blogger
Ready to go blog hopping? My tour starts today with a visit to Laura’s Interests! Time to hop in the car, and don’t worry, we won’t be staying at Hickelby’s Motor Lodge. We’re heading for the Tunie Hotel in beautiful downtown Piney Woods.
Okay, maybe we won’t have this dude standing around, but you get the idea. Here is the rest of the schedule if you want to hop along. Be sure to enter my giveaway and leave a comment so I know you stopped by!

As I head up to the Piney Woods this weekend for a very special wedding, I wanted to let you know my book tour for Murder of a Good Man is only one week away! We’ve been working on interviews, guest posts, and even some visits from the characters in the first Piney Woods mystery.
And don’t forget all you friends of the Prize Guy…there is a giveaway too!
We’re having a party today and YOU are invited! There will be giveaways EVERY HOUR so drop by. So much planning…but lots of fun! Hope to see you there.
Just hearing about this book? Here’s the scoop! (cooking term)
This is our biggest anthology yet! Fifteen multi-published and bestselling authors have written short stories to entertain, baffle, and amuse you. As always, the book includes an email address so you can send away for a bonus file full of recipes and craft ideas that go with each story.
Cooking can be murder, especially when these 15 authors get involved. These are all-new, never published stories that’ll satisfy your hunger for good, clean reads with a criminal intent.
I am happy to announce MURDER OF A GOOD MAN with Camel Press will be coming out January 15, 2018. This will be my second series that takes place in Texas and the story centers around a historic hotel in an oil-bust town.
When Nora Alexander drives into Piney Woods, Texas, to fulfill her dying mother’s last wish, she has no idea what awaits her. First, she is run off the road, then the sealed letter she delivers turns out to be a scathing rebuke to the town’s most beloved citizen and favored candidate for Piney Woods Pioneer: Adam Brockwell. Next thing you know, Adam has been murdered in a nasty knife attack. Suspicion instantly falls on Nora, one of the last people to see him alive. After all, everyone in Piney Woods loved him. Or did they? Turns out Nora’s mother had a complicated past she never shared with her daughter.
Told not to leave town by Tuck the flirty sheriff, Nora finds a job with Tuck’s Aunt Marty trying to get the rundown Tunie Hotel back in the black. The old hotel was Piney Woods’ heart and soul in its heyday as an oil boomtown. Now the secrets it harbors may be the key to getting Nora off the hook. She’s going to need to solve the mystery quickly to avoid arrest, or worse: becoming the killer’s next victim.
Book 1 in the Piney Woods Mystery series.

If you are looking for a Fourth of July mystery, check out Doggone Dead! It’s full of fireworks…and exploding port-a-potties. Writing is so much fun!
Give me land lots of land….and a puppy on the loose. When Betsy Livingston’s puppy runs away, she has no idea it will lead her to a murder on a movie cowboy star’s estate. Not only has there been a murder, but the town reports sightings of the dead cowboy himself. He’s out to seek revenge on all who wronged his daughter who became the victim of her own money-loving butler. Enjoy a little time on the Fourth of July in the tiny town of Pecan Bayou Texas where old cowboys never die…
