I know I’ve been pretty quiet lately, but for good reason. Buzzkill is finally out and can be purchased at Amazon. To launch the book I’m going to be touring in July and August and with free days on Amazon July 25-28. Even though the book hasn’t had any promotion yet, it seems to be selling quite well, so thanks to my loyal and new readers!
Betsy Livingston is planning a wedding so what could go wrong? After publishing a recipe for homemade calamine lotion in the newspaper, the ladies in the community church make a large batch. Everyone loves the stuff until someone in Pecan Bayou is found dead after using it. The town points to Betsy and she starts rethinking her whole career as a helpful hints columnist. Now she must clear her own name in between dress-fitting, cake-tasting, and all those things that turn a bride into a bridezilla. Is Betsy at fault or could there be something else that leads her down the aisle to murder?
I had so much fun writing this book and I would like to thank Kresha at NourishingJoy.com for giving me permission to use her calamine lotion recipe. She’s a real Betsy Livingston and has some great natural remedies, recipes and tutorials on her site.
If you can’t wait for the free days, I have Goodreads Giveaway going on right now for a signed paperback copy. So enter today through the Goodreads box in the right column and good luck!
I will be posting my blog schedule when it is finalized, so stay tuned for plenty of guest posts and interviews.
I’m so excited to announce we are getting ready to publish the fourth book in the Pecan Bayou cozy mystery series. The book will be out later this summer, so until then, here is a little cozy mystery teaser.
The cover for BUZZKILL.
There are four elements in the cover that have to do with the story. If you have read the first three books you can probably figure out who is getting married in the fourth book. Now, more about Betsy’s latest mystery…
There is going to be a wedding and all of Pecan Bayou is excited. What better day to promise your true love forever than on Valentine’s Day? Valentine’s Day–the busiest day of the year for bakeries, florists, wedding venues and wedding officials? Throw into the mix a couple of bridezillas and of course a murder to solve and Betsy Livingston is ready to feel that BUZZKILL.
Stay tuned for the official launch of Buzzkill!
