Fulfilling her mother’s last wish, Nora Alexander drives from New Orleans to Piney Woods, Texas, to hand-deliver a sealed letter. It turns out to be a harsh rebuke to Adam Brockwell, the town’s most beloved citizen. Soon after, Brockwell is killed. Told not to leave town, Nora begins work at the old Tunie Hotel, which may hold the secret to solving the mystery.
